And then there is Benicia's little secret: the British colonial pub behind the Jefferso St. Mansion. Only open on Friday and Saturday evenings; often closed to the public as one of Reed's catered groups has exclusive use of it. Decent cigars.

What do you mean, it has no competition? The most popular lesbian pub in Solano (Cliff's) is in Benicia, and there is a decent little hole-in-the-wall "Irish" bar at the foot of First Street!

This is not a place to go for beer, per se, but they often have great music and dancing. There is no better night club in Benicia.
